Product FAQ: Paper Bouquets & Choosing a GiftUpdated a day ago
How it works
How does a PetalPal pop-up bouquet work?
It arrives flat in a slim mailer that fits through your letterbox. Slide it out, gently unfold it, and it pops open into a full bouquet standing in its own printed vase — no assembly and no water. It is a paper-engineered design that opens in seconds.
Are PetalPal bouquets real flowers or paper?
They are made of paper. Each bouquet is crafted from printed, folded paper so it looks beautiful from day one and never wilts — a lasting keepsake rather than a cut-flower arrangement.
Do paper flowers last? Will they wilt or die?
They last indefinitely. Because they are paper, they never wilt, never need water and will not drop petals. Kept out of direct damp they stay beautiful for years.
Do I need to add water or care for the bouquet?
No. There is no water, trimming or upkeep. Just unfold it and display it.
Does the bouquet come with a vase?
Yes. The vase is part of the design — the bouquet pops up standing in its own printed paper vase, ready to display the moment it opens.
What sizes are available?
Every design comes in two sizes: a Regular (the fuller gift, $12.99) and a Mini (a petite version of the same bouquet, $8.99).
Ordering, gift notes & delivery
Can I include a personalised gift message?
Yes. Add a personalised message at checkout and we print it on the greeting card inside the envelope. If you do not add one, the card includes a pre-printed note you can write on yourself.
Can the bouquet be sent directly to the recipient?
Yes — enter their address as the shipping address at checkout. It arrives gift-ready in its mailer with the card inside, and no pricing is shown.
How long does delivery take and how do I track my order?
We dispatch within about one business day and most orders arrive within 5–10 days. You will get a tracking link by email as soon as it ships; tracking can take 24–48 hours to show its first scan.
Can I change my address or order after placing it?
If it has not shipped yet, reply to your order confirmation email with your order number as soon as possible and we will help.
Choosing a bouquet
Which bouquet is best for sympathy or condolences?
Spotted Lilies is our sympathy bouquet — elegant stargazer lilies in soft pink, purple and cream — with Cerulean Dream as a gentle alternative. Because they are paper, they last as a keepsake.
Which bouquet is best for Mother's Day?
Tulip Kisses (soft pastel tulips) and Daffodil Bloom (fresh white and yellow daffodils) are both Mother's Day favourites.
Which is best for a romantic gift or anniversary?
Rosy Radiance (roses in red and pink) and Fuchsia Fantasy (roses, peony and hydrangea in pink and purple) are our most romantic designs.
Do you have Australian native bouquets?
Yes — Kakadu Embrace, Kirribilli Sunset, Illawarra Essence and Yarra Dreaming all feature proteas, banksias, waratahs and other natives.
I want something cheerful or for a thank-you.
Sunflower Smiles and Cheerful Gerberas are bright and happy — perfect for thank-yous, congratulations and just because, and a great way to thank a nurse, teacher or colleague.
What is the cheapest option?
Every bouquet has a Mini at $8.99. Minis are the same design as the Regular, just smaller.
After delivery
My bouquet arrived damaged — what do I do?
We are sorry! Reply with your order number and a photo and we will send a free replacement of the same bouquet right away.
Tracking says delivered but I cannot find it.
Check with everyone at the address and any safe spots (porch, parcel box, neighbours); parcels occasionally sit at the local post office for a day or two. If it is still missing 3 business days after a delivered scan, reply and we will help.
What is your return and refund policy?
If something is not right, contact us within 30 days of delivery. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method and take about 2–3 business days to appear once processed.
